Uncinate.

Uncinate in form; hooked or crooked; hook-like: specifically applied in anatomy to certain hook-like processes of bone: as, the unciform process of the ethmoid; the unciform process of the unciform bone.

In anatomy and zoology, one of the bones of the wrist, so called from its hook-like process; a carpal bone of the distal row, the innermost one on the ulnar or little-finger side, in special relation with the heads of the fourth and fifth metacarpals, supposed to represent carpalia IV and V of the typical carpus.
