troilite

A nonmagnetic variety of the mineral pyrrhotite, FeS, present in almost all meteorites and having almost no ferrous iron deficiency.

A native iron sulphid often occurring in meteorites, and especially meteoric irons, as embedded nodules or generally disseminated.

Native iron protosulphide, FeS. It is known only in meteoric irons, and is usually in imbedded nodular masses of a bronze color.
