kylix

A shallow, stemmed, two-handled drinking cup of ancient Greece.

In Greek antiquity, a vase or cup of elegant form, used for drinking. The kylix was usually broad and shallow, with or without a slender foot, and provided with two handles not extending above the rim. Also written cylix.
