A small stalk or stalklike part bearing a single flower in an inflorescence.

A support for a fern sporangium or moss capsule.

In botany, the ultimate division of a common peduncle; the stalk that supports one flower only when there are several on a peduncle.

In zoology and anatomy, a little foot or foot-like part; a footlet; a footstalk, pedicle, or peduncle.
