A new board shuffles every 2 minutes, allowing everyone in the room to compete for a high score.
The goal of the game is to find as many words as possible within the grid of 16 letters before time's up. Find words by swiping across the tiles in any direction. The longer the word, the more points. Once you find a word, you can tap it to learn its definition.
Each letter has the following point value:
1 pt - A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T, R
2 pts - D, G
3 pts - B, C, M, P
4 pts - F, H, V, W, Y
5 pts - K
8 pts - J, X
10 pts - Q, Z
The point value of the word is then multiplied based on the length of the word:
5 letters - 2x the pts
6 letters - 3x the pts
7 letters - 4x the pts
8 letters - 5x the pts
Your ranking is a reflection of how many players you've outscored in live games, weighted for top 10 results. It can only increase, you aren't penalized for coming in last.
The standard OSPD which includes all English words except proper nouns, abbreviations, and words requiring apostrophes or hyphens.
